Headteacher's Welcome
On behalf of the staff, children and governors, I would like to welcome you to Castletown Primary School's website. As Headteacher, I certainly feel very privileged to be part of such a vibrant and welcoming school community and I am very proud to lead such a fabulous school. We have fantastic children, dedicated, hard-working staff and very supportive parents and governors. We are a school family that 'nurtures excellence, aspiration and discovery'.
My vision, as head teacher, is to continue to provide high quality education for all the children in our care recognising individual talents and ensuring that opportunities are provided so that all can reach their full potential. I will strive to ensure that every child within our school is nurtured so that they may grow to become confident, caring and compassionate young people. I believe that your child has the potential to do amazing things and that if we work together to support their learning journey, this potential can become a reality.
What have we been up to?

Food for Thought day
Thank you again for your generosity with donated food items last week. Some of our Year6 pupils helped to bag up the items that were collected this morning by our local food bank. A great effort for a great cause. Mr.Duncan.
Year 3 trip to Broom House Farm
Don't forget it's the Y3 trip to Broom House Farm on Thursday 23rd October.
As the photographer is in school, please can all Y3 children arrive at school as soon as possible wearing thier full school uniform.
After photogrpahs are taken, the children will then change into tracksuit bottoms and wellington boots or trainers, ready for the trip. Please can all children come with a waterproof coat (with a hood) as the weather is expected to be wet. Children should also bring with them thier packed lunch (no nut products) and a drink (water). Packed lunches will be provided by school for children who qualify for Free School Meals.
