Charitable Events
At Castletown Primary, we believe it is important to support charities and give back to the community. We regularly hold fundraising events to raise money for good causes and to help those in need. By working closely with our local community, pupils learn the value of kindness, teamwork and making a postivie difference to the world around them.
Children in Need 2025
We had lots of fun in school celebrating Children in Need. To start the day, we had so much fun in our assembly completing a whole school 25 minute danceathon. There was certainly lots of moving, dancing, laughter and red faces. Thank you also to everyone who did a family 25 challenge to raise money. I hope you had a fun time in doing your chosen challenge!
Food for Thought
Thank you to everyone who donated food cans and dry food items for our 'Food for Thought' day. All donated items have been distributed to our local food banks to support the most vulnerable in our community. Again, a big 'THANK YOU' to you all!
Macmillan Coffee Morning
A very big thank you to everyone who attended our Macmillan Coffee event. It was lovely to catch up with so many people and to see everyone enjoying a cake or two! Thank you for your fantastic generosity and donations for such a good cause. We couldn't do it without such a brilliant school community. Hats off to you all!
Colour Run
During the summer term, our school held a fabulous Colour Run to celebrate the life of Miss Ni Chomhrai and to give thanks for her time at our school. The children had an absolutely amazing time and it was lovely to see so many smiles and to hear lots of laughter.
